EDUCATION
About one third of respondents (74, 35%) considered there was no provision for adult learning in Bampton. Of the remainder, many (118) thought that what was available was poor and only 18 considered it good or reasonable. If appropriate training were provided, everyone could get to a training centre in Bampton, but Exeter was out of range for 4 out of 5 people and only a quarter of respondents could get to Taunton. There were suggestions that better use could be made of facilities at the school for adult learning and sports at weekends.
