Devon Catering and Cleaning Services

DCCS is the main provider of Catering and Cleaning services to Devon County Council and Catering services to Torbay Council.  In addition we manage on behalf of the Environment, Economy and Culture directorate, the School Crossing Patrol Service and on behalf of the County Council, Larkbeare House, a superb venue for meetings and conferences.

Employing around 1700 staff, the vast majority of which are our front line workers based on our customers sites, who are supported by dedicate Area Teams.

Catering

• School Catering – Creating and serving 45,000 meals each day to Primary, Special and Secondary Schools.
• Promoting Healthy Eating within national Nutritional Standards.
• Function and Civic Catering from small business lunches to a garden party for a thousand people.

Cleaning

• Cleaning, caretaking and maintaining around 340 Schools, Colleges, offices or other establishments.
• Programmed targeted cleaning and specialist floor treatments.
• 24-hour Emergency Call Out Service.
• Portable Appliance Testing.

Conference Facilities

• Larkbeare House – a superb venue, managed by DCCS, for meetings, seminars, and conferences.

School Crossing Patrols

• Ensuring the safety of children walking to schools in Devon.

We can provide services to all public sector bodies, including the health service, police and magistrates courts, Borough, District and County Councils (including Schools).
