There is no public parking available on the library site. The Cricketfield pay and display car park is within 50 metres and has steps that lead back to the library.

The following is a list of periodicals and newsletters currently held in the Railway Studies Collection in Newton Abbot Library. Staff are not available to search the periodicals listed below for specific articles, and the Library can only accept requests for photocopies by post if precise details, including page references, are given. Application must be made on the Railway Studies Collection photocopy request form image - PDF icon (29KB - pdf help) which must be printed out, signed and forwarded with the appropriate remittance, made payable to Devon County Council. The cost can be calculated from the number of pages required multiplied by £0.50. The minimum payment per order is £5.00. It is regretted that electronic requests and payments cannot be accepted.

Railway Studies is supported by the Friends of the Railway Studies Collection.

Established in 1992 the Friends support the collection by various means including volunteering for Saturday opening hours, fund raising for the purchase of new titles for the Collection or giving specialist advice on the many unidentified photographs and slides held by the Collection.
