Project Background
Many Devon County Council (DCC), Devon Partnership Trust (DPT) and Devon Primary Care Trust (DPCT) staff are located in a number of older properties which are both expensive to run and have a significant maintenance backlog. Following an option appraisal by the Newton Abbot Joint Estates Review Board and a report by DCC to Corporate Management Board it was recommended that all parties enter into a joint venture to rent a 3 storey purpose built office.
The building known as Estuary House is located on the edge of Newton Abbot on the Brunel Industrial Estate approximately 1 mile from the town centre. The office will comprise of approximately 1,400m² over three floors with planning permission for 59 car parking spaces.
