The Devon County Junior Choir was formed in 2007 as part of the Chorister Outreach Programme which is a collaboration between Devon Music Service and Exeter Cathedral. The choir is open to Devon school children aged 8 - 13 and currently numbers 50 members. There is a full programme of practices, concerts and social events. The choir has performed several times in Exeter Cathedral, and also at Buckfast Abbey, Truro Cathedral and at concerts in Torquay and Plymouth. DCJC sings music in a wide variety of styles, and its committed members learn to enhance their vocal technique, while improving their general musical skills at the same time has having lots of fun!
