Definitive Map Review

Parishes of Littleham and Landcross

The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 requires the County Council to keep the Definitive Map of public rights of way under continuous review and to make modifications where it appears that routes should be added, regraded or deleted.  A review is currently being undertaken in the Parishes of Littleham and Landcross.

Your views and any relevant evidence are sought on the Schedule of suggestions:

1. This is the consultation on, the diversion of part of Footpath No.7. From its current cross field line, to a field edge route. At grid ref 4424 2363 to 4432 2355. See large copy of plan no. PROW/05/11.

The landowner is paying for this diversion.

2. This is the consultation on, the diversion of the south part of Footpath No.8. From it current cross field route, to a field edge route. At grid ref 4443 2348 to 4443 2336. See large copy of plan PROW/05/11.

The landowner is paying for this diversion.

3. Suggested additionof a short stretch footpath from the Crealock Arms in Littleham to the main road from the village towards Abbotsham Cross. It is about 200m in length. More evidence and information is sought on this path, from current landowners, former landowners and anyone who may have used it.
