Fun Stuff!

These folded paper frogs are great fun. Make some for your friends and see who can flip their frog the highest!
You will need thin green or yellow card measuring approximately 8cm x 15cm. |
The dotted lines show the first two folds. First, fold the top left hand corner down to form a triangle. |
This is how is should look. |
Unfold this and then fold the right hand |
Unfold this again. We are now going the fold across the dotted line shown here. But first turn the paper over... |
Like this! See how I've folded across the points of the triangles. |
OK now the difficult bit. Turn the paper back over again and it should look like this. Now you need to squash the triangles down on top of each other. Look at the next picture to see how this works. |
The sides push in so it looks like the hood of a jacket. |
Now it looks like the roof of a little house. I've marked the next fold we are going to make. |
Fold up the little flap. This will make one |
We now need to fold in the sides as marked with dotted lines. |
So it looks like this. Now fold the bottom of the model up. This will make the springy back legs. |
It should almost cover up the nose |
By folding the card back down you have formed the back legs. Now turn the model over. |
Press on the lower back of the frog to flip it. |
