Alternative Information Formats

We have a responsibility to ensure our information is available in a range of formats and accessible to people with a physical, sensory or learning disabilities and those whose first language is not English.

If a member of public cannot easily communicate in English, our staff can access Language Line which is a confidential translation and interpretation service. There are also many websites that offer text translation from English into most major languages. These websites can be found using any search engine.

BSL is the officially recognised language that we use for people who have hearing difficulties.

We can also produce our information in easy read format. This includes using images alongside easy to understand text. The images we use are taken from 'Photosymbols'.

We also have a range of information which has been produced in audio and DVD formats.

See the links below to find out more about any of these formats.
