Religious Education and the use of ICT

This is a case study of four schools who set out to plan a topic in which they would deliberately use some aspects of ICT in the context of religious education. They have
  • described their experiences,
  • given examples of pupil work and
  • evaluated the project.
It is hoped that this will inspire others to take the issues further and enhance learning in religious education by the use and development of pupils’ skills in ICT.
The four schools were
  • The Beacon Church of England (VA) Primary School, Exmouth
  • Otterton C of E Primary School
  • The King’s School Ottery
  • Uffculme School
The projects were led by the subject leaders in these schools: Barbara Capper, Pat Fowler, Ed Pawson and Leonore Swait.
  • Issues arising from the case study
  • Poems from Beacon Primary
  • Posters from Otterton Primary
