School Organisation

The School Organisation Group within Strategic Planning is responsible for:

• ensuring adherence to School Organisation legislation on statutory proposals relating to individual schools and the decision making processorganisation of school places to ensure that all children can attend a local school, including medium and long term forecasting of provision
• engaging Local Learning Communities in discussion which affect local schools, liaising with all interested parties as appropriate
• provision of information (via a School Organisation Plan) to schools and colleagues to assist them in making decisions relating to their school or service
• to direct the planning of school places and schools in new communities to ensure places are provided to agreed timescales
