I have been elected as a County Councillor for the electoral division of Bideford East. I intend to serve the interests of all residents, regardless of political persuasion.

I am, however, a member of the Conservative Party and take an active interest in a number of national and local campaigns. I am Married to Eithne Robinson and have two grown-up children - Lynda and David. I also have four grandchildren

My Priorities/Objectives

1) To become fully conversant with the procedures and functioning of Devon County Council so as to maximise my performance as councillor representing my district.

2) To establish, maintain and develop two-way communication between myself and the residents and statutory and voluntary organisations in my district and, where necessary, throughout the county so that the maximum support and assistance can be channeled to the benefit of my district and its people.

3) To seek for the provision of adequate infrustructures and services, proper funding for our schools, for services to the elderly, and for road repairs and road safety provision.  To work to protect and preserve our Listed Buildings, and conservation areas, our trees and green spaces, and to maximise the support that can be given to our rural communities.
