The North Devon AONB and Biosphere Service (NDABS) is a partnership organisation hosted by Devon County Council working for the rural environment in northern Devon. We were established in 1998 after the re-structuring of various countryside projects working in the northern Devon area and all of our work is within North Devon's Biosphere Reserve. To find out more about what we do, please have a look at our service leaflet image - PDF icon (157KB - pdf help).

Our mission is:

“To work with the community to provide a high quality service in north Devon area, to secure a sustainable future & safeguard the special character of the area.”
