Exeter Principal Urban Area
The Exeter Prinicipal Urban Area (PUA) scheme is designed to tackle congestion in the city by improving traffic conditions along two of the strategic routes into Exeter. It includes proposals to improve congestion along Alphington Road, Bridge Road, Topsham Road and at Countess Wear Roundabout by the removal of traffic bottlenecks, construction of bus lanes and a new Park and Ride facility.
