Dartmoor Sunday Rover

Hop aboard the Sunday Rover network of buses and trains and enjoy a great day out.

Letting public transport take the strain is the perfect way to travel around Devon, taking in the spectacular scenery along the way with no worries about driving and parking; enjoy the wide open landscapes, visit pretty moorland villages, or enjoy a day by the sea.

With many bus services included there's a wide choice of places to visit.

Your ticket to a great day out

An adult day ticket costs just £6.00, providing exceptional value for money. Passengers simply pay on any of the buses shown below, at Plymouth railway station, or from the conductor on the Tamar Valley Line train and are then free to use the entire network including the popular Transmoor Link double decker bus between Plymouth and Exeter.

Children can get a ticket for £4.00 and a family ticket for up to five people costs just £16.00.

Holders of a National Bus pass may travel free of charge on the bus services but not on the trains.

The Rover ticket is valid on all of the following services:

  • All Stagecoach Devon buses, including Exeter City services.
  • All First bus services in Devon, except service 92, Taunton to Exeter. Also valid on X53 as far as Weymouth.
  • River Link service 100.
  • Western Greyhound services 510, 573 and 592.
  • First Great Western Tamar Valley Line trains between Plymouth and Gunnislake.
  • Beacon bus service 118.

When you can use your ticket

You can use your Sunday Rover ticket to travel on any Sunday between 28th September 2008 to 17th May 2009 and on Bank Holidays 10th and 13th April and 4th May 2009.

Note: Your ticket will NOT be valid on Tamar Valley Line trains on Bank Holidays.
