The courses will include the following levels:

Bikeability Level 1 (basic cycle skills) course

The Level One course will appeal to children of 7-9yrs old and aims to develop cycle skills with exercises and fun games in a traffic free environment. Children must live or attend school in Exeter to quailify.

Bikeability Level 2 (on road) course

The Level Two course is for children aged 10 and over and is carried out on quiet residential roads. This then progresses onto busier roads towards the end of the course, to develop the children's cycling skills in normal traffic conditions. The aim is to give them the skills to make more cycle journeys, particularly to and from school.

Bikeability Level 3 (advanced on road) course

The Level Three course is for children of 11 years or older who have completed Level 2 training. It is delivered on busy roads with complex junctions.

All courses are delivered by Cycle Exeter instructors.

You will need to bring a roadworthy bike and a cycle helmet. It would be advisable to get your bike checked in a local bike shop.
