Devon County Council is responsible for development of the multi-agency contingency plan for the clean up of a major pollution incident affecting the coasts of Devon and is also responsible for leading the co-ordination of the clean up of a major pollution incident.

Devon County Council is also actively involved with Travel Awareness initiatives to reduce traffic congestion and air pollution.
