The Minerals Local Plan was due to lapse on 27 September 2007, but the Secretary of State has directed that all but two of the Plan's policies (Policies MP1 and MP12 are the exceptions) be saved until such time as they are superseded by new policies within the County Council's emerging Minerals and Waste Development Framework.
