Today, climate change is never far from the news.  Greenhouse gas emissions from burning fossil fuels are causing global warming and changing our climate. In the UK about one third of all emissions come from our homes.  The pressure is on us to examine our lifestyles and reduce our consumption of energy and resources.

You may already use low energy light bulbs and make regular trips to the recycling centre, but are you a hero or zero when it comes to climate change?

Your household's carbon footprint is probably about 7 tonnes of carbon dioxide a year. You know you can do more...and it's important that you take the next step today!

A score above 5

Don't despair that you are Mr/Mrs Average, the Climate Care Club welcomes new members all the time.  The eco-footprint of your household is probably about 14 tonnes of carbon dioxide a year but you can change that quickly and easily by using the "hi 5" actions.  Come on, join our club. You know it makes sense both for your pocket and the climate!
