Climate Change

Don't be a waster - Do it for Devon
What can we do?

Surprisingly we can do a lot, but only if we act together. If each and every one of us looks at our daily lives and makes a few simple changes we can make a big difference. Saving energy, using the car less, recycling more. These are just a few of the simple things we can all do that will reduce our energy consumption which in turn lowers carbon emissions the cause of global warming.

Climate change begins at home
Global warming is Devon’s problem but fortunately the solution lies in our hands. Take a look at the tips on these pages and see what you can do to help make a difference. No one is expecting you to do everything (although it would be fantastic if you did) but if everyone in Devon did 5 or 6 of the suggestions that would have real results.

It pays to save the planet
And finally, as if saving the planet wasn’t incentive enough, these suggestions will also save you money. Why not try a few of them and see how you get on? You’ll notice the difference in your pocket and your children will notice a difference in their lifetime.
