Self Help Advice to enable you to comply with Trading Standards legislation

Before you get started on a new venture, product or service, Trading Standards can advise you on the legal requirements you will have to comply with. If you have a query about Trading Standards law and you can't find the answer within the advice leaflets or resources below, you can Contact Us and we will be happy to advise you via email, on the telephone, or at your premises if needed. Customer Complaints and Civil Law

If a dispute develops between yourself and a consumer and you need legal advice, we can advise you. Trading Standards can tell you what the customers rights actually are and help you to determine the best way to resolve the dispute.
