Devon County Council gave a pledge last year to lead an independently chaired local Public Inquiry into the beaching of the MSC Napoli in Lyme Bay. The Inquiry is supported by East Devon District and Dorset County Councils.

The purpose of the Inquiry is to hold public hearings and prepare a report on what lessons can be learned from the fate of the MSC Napoli and how best to protect our marine environment and coastal communities in the future.

If you would would like to help the Inquiry by contributing evidence the following information explains how you can get involved. Alternatively, you can contact the MSC Napoli Inquiry Co-ordinating Office on 01392 380101 or email centre@devon.gov.uk for further information.
