Children With Special Needs

A special need means a physical, sight, hearing, speech, learning, behaviour or mental health condition.

Children and Young People's Services, Health and Education work together to plan and co-ordinate services for children and young people 18 years and under who have special needs.

In the parts of Devon covered by the North & East Devon Healthcare Community, services are delivered by joint agency Children with Special Needs Teams.

In South and West Devon, Devon Social Services have a Children with Disabilities Team.
