This Statement of Purpose fulfils the requirement of Standard 1 of the Adoption National Minimum Standards (issued under sections 23(1) and 49(1) of the Care Standards Act 2000) and Regulation 2 and Schedule 1 of the Local Authority Adoption Service (England) Regulations 2003 (Adoption Act 1976; Adoption & Children Act 2002).
