The official catalogue of UK official publications published by The Stationery Office (TSO):

• Contains over 450,000 records of official publications from 1980 onwards
• Catalogues the publishing output of over 2000 official bodies including Parliament, Government Departments, Quangos and Agencies
• Links to the full text of thousands of publications including over 20,000 links to publications available on the Internet and over 12,000 full text documents permanently archived for inclusion in UKOP
• Around 3,000 key documents, not available on the web, are digitised specifically for inclusion in the UKOP archive every year such as press releases, circulars, guidance notes, consultation papers, statistics, inspection reports and inquiry reports

UKOP is currently only available in Exeter and Barnstaple Libraries. Please use our online enquiry service if you need help tracing an official publication but cannot get to one of these libraries. Exeter Reference Library also holds a large collection of printed official publications.

Access to UKOP is by username and password so you will need to ask a member of staff to login for you. It is possible, however, to browse the catalogue by the name of the government department or agency without having to be logged in. Departments or agencies which no longer exist are also included.

Printing and downloading

Catalogue entries can be printed for personal use or private study.
