Entertainment for the whole family at your ... library?
You would expect your library to have a wide range of fiction on offer to suit all tastes, but did you know that many libraries stock CDs, so you can match your music to your mood, or just 'try before you buy'? Larger libraries also have a good selection of films on DVD and we are starting to introduce a collection of Blu-ray discs in Exeter Central and Barnstaple. Films are rented to you for a full week, so plenty of time for you to watch at your leisure.
Throughout the year libraries organise events and activities for all ages. Check our Book Talk section for news of author visits or find out how to join a local reading group. During the school holidays libraries run themed events for children including story-times and craft activities.
