Computers
There are computers, with Broadband access to the Internet, in all libraries for you to use.
Library members can use a computer free of charge for ½ hour a day, but there is a charge for non-members. You can also hire a computer for longer if there is one available. You will have to pay for printouts. For more information please see our Fees and Charges.
In some libraries, you can find a wheel-chair friendly workstation with special software and hardware to help people with visual or other impairments. For further information on these facilities please see Computers Adapted for Specific Needs - PC+
The computers run on a system specially designed for public libraries which allows you to sign on using your library card number. Guest access is available to non-members. If you would like to book a computer in advance of your visit you can do this online here Book Devon library PC.
Information about joining and using library computers is available in 32 languages.

***Over the coming months, we will be updating our library computers to Windows 7 and Office 2010, so there may be some disruption to this service. We will add dates when the work will take place at least one week in advance - so please check the relevant library page or phone your library before you visit.***
