Devon County Council

The Made in Devon scheme confirms the local origin of products sold in the county. The scheme now boasts both small and large businesses from all over Devon. If you are from Devon, or are simply planning to visit the county, look out for the Made in Devon logo when you shop.

Made in Devon is delivered by the Economy and Regeneration Service in partnership with Trading Standards.

Trading Standards gain Beacon Council status

Devon County Council's Trading Standards Department listed the Made in Devon scheme as one of its main assets in achieving Beacon Council status for the County Council (one of only 5 councils to achieve the status under the Competitiveness and Enterprise theme). The Beacon Council scheme provides an opportunity to celebrate excellence in local government. Made in Devon was highlighted by the adjudicating panel as being 'an innovative approach to trading regulation'.
