The Following agencies can offer some additional assistance for persons having difficulty pursuing a consumer issue:
www.citizensadvice.org.uk – You can use this website to find your local CAB. Centres are set up to receive personal callers and can assist with the letter writing and court process as well as offering advice on a range of issues.
Citizens Advice Bureaux provide free, confidential and independent advice from over 3,000 locations including in bureaux, GP surgeries, hospitals, colleges, prisons and courts.
Advice is available face-to-face and by telephone. Most bureaux offer home visits and some also provide email advice.
CAB advice helps people resolve their debt, benefits, housing, legal, discrimination, employment, immigration, consumer and other problems and is available to everyone regardless of race, gender, sexuality, age, nationality, disability or religion”

Information on motoring, money, employment, education! This website also provides a facility to find information by audience groups, such as disabled people, the over 50s, young people and parents.
You can also complete a number of government services online through the Direct Website, like: Booking a driving test, taxing your car, renewing your passport, applying for a student loan
The Age Concern website can offer useful advice to older people, as well as provide details of local branches and the support they can offer.
