The aim of this Group is to take collective management responsibility for delivery of the Devon County outcomes for effective carer involvement generically across all carers' service areas.

Meetings are to be held every four months, in tandem with the County Carers Forum.

Membership / Attendees

This group is currently being developed.  Membership names and contact details will be provided as soon as these are available.

• 6 x Chairs (or other carer representatives) of Locality Carers Forums;
• 4 x Carers Lead Officers from the four Social Care Divisions
• 1 x PCT Representative on behalf of the 6 PCTs
• 1 x Carers Development Worker representative
• 1 x Young Carers Development Worker representative

Roles and Responsibilities

• To establish and support the County Carers Forum, including the provision of adequate administrative support;
• To take forward the action recommendations coming from the County Carers Forum and monitor progress against them;
• To propose County-level spending and other priorities in relation to carers for agreement by the County Carers Forum;
• To monitor and review the working process of the Carers Involvement Framework.
